How we met
George met Dana in July of 2005. George was very nervous and picked Dana up in his black clunker of a car. As soon as Dana spotted that clunker, she offered to drive. George insisted on driving, so off they went, rattles and all. They enjoyed their first dinner together and had an instant connection. Over the next several weeks, the calls became more frequent and the dates more regular. Soon,George and Dana were a couple, enjoying the holidays, planning a vacation, and fixing his apartment.
Life happened and George and Dana parted ways. George made some mistakes and Dana wanted to go in a different direction. They both found themselves in new relationships but still remained friends. They would often check in with one another here and there. George never fully let Dana go and Dana was always open to a friendship.
Dana and George found themselves on the same road again in August of 2011. Dana was grieving over a broken engagement and George's marriage was falling apart. George rang Dana's doorbell on August 4th, because he desperately needed a friend. Dana welcomed George back into her life and together they helped each other heal. It wasn't long before they realized what they still meant to each other. George took Dana away for her birthday in September and told her that he was still in love with her. From that moment on, they were inseperable. Their relationship picked up right where they left off and Dana knew that this was meant to be. George's life changed for the better and he couldn't have been happier. Holidays came and both families came together. They knew that they were witnessing the start of a new forever.
